Photographers ranging from Ansel Adams to Matt Black have utilized the black and white medium to capture striking contrast and evoke emotions. While I have a deep appreciation for color photography, I am equally enthralled by the allure of black and white. What truly fascinates me is the unique ability of black and white imagery to convey a distinct meaning, distinct from that of color photography. It presents an intriguing challenge that goes beyond simply capturing or converting an image to black and white during post-editing. With every shot I take, particularly in black and white, I strive to photograph with intention and purpose.
