Discovering beauty in the ordinary is a pursuit that truly captivates me. I find immense satisfaction in unearthing the extraordinary within the mundane aspects of everyday life. Greetings, I am Jim McDonald, and I have reached a pivotal moment where I am no longer chasing my dreams, but rather embracing the opportunity to live them. From my teenage years, photography has held a special place in my heart. Although there have been intermittent periods of involvement in this art form throughout my life, I yearn to delve deeper into its wonders. Often, the demands of life and financial constraints have hindered my progress. However, I have overcome these obstacles and now find myself in a position to pursue my passion wholeheartedly.
In 2022, I acquired a pre-owned mirrorless camera that has truly ignited a new love for photography. Additionally, I have ventured into the realm of drone technology, utilizing it to capture captivating videos and photos. This innovative approach has become one of my preferred methods for crafting compelling imagery. The thought of leaving my comfort zone and embarking on this dream is undeniably daunting.
While aspiring for clients alone may not suffice to cover expenses, my true aim is to establish lasting relationships with clients who appreciate my work. This very objective has motivated me to create my website, www.JHMPhotography.com. I was overseas for 15 months but now I am back on the East coast. I’m keen to establish a presence in Virginia. Through my website, I seek to present a living portfolio that will evolve and transform over time.
