Abandoned
Abandonment signifies being forsaken or left behind without consideration. When someone or something is abandoned, it is often a deliberate act, indicating a purposeful disconnection. In the case of death, individuals leave behind everyone they once shared their lives with, which can be seen as a form of abandonment.
Personally, I find great fascination in discovering and exploring abandoned buildings and areas that were once inhabited, even if only in recent years. These spaces often serve as time capsules, preserving remnants of the past through the objects and possessions left behind. They carry the essence of a narrative waiting to be unveiled. For me, photography is the means to capture and convey these stories. Through images, I strive to encapsulate the essence of a moment or a place, allowing the viewers to immerse themselves in the story being told.
